**Adventure Orthodontics: COVID-19 Update**

Dear Patients and Families,

The Coronavirus has changed our daily lives.  Our friends in the medical community and city officials are extremely concerned that the number of cases could overwhelm our medical infrastructure in the near future, leading to more deaths, unless aggressive measures are taken.

Currently, our “Governor Greg Abbot had extended a signed executive order continuing until April 30, 2020 for all dental offices to postpone all procedures that are not immediately medically necessary to correct a serious medical condition, or to preserve the life of a patient. Violation of executive orders could lead to potential fines and even jail time for those who do not comply.”

At Adventure Orthodontics your health and wellbeing are our top priority and our main goal has always been to protect the health of our patients, our team, and our community. Even though we are closing the office to all non-emergency treatments, we’ll of course still be here for all of our patients and any member or our community in the event of an emergency.

We will contact you as soon as the office reopens or if this date changes. Here are some more details you should know:
If you’re having pain from your braces, please contact us at 281-353-5556 or AdventureOrtho@gmail.com and we’ll take care of you. We need to see these true emergencies so that our hospitals are not overburdened.

If you are currently scheduled for an appointment, we will be reaching out to you individually to reschedule your visit.

Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates and content from Adventure Orthodontics and Dr. Bar.

In the meantime, it is our sincerest hope that you, your family, and loved ones are kept safe. We encourage everyone to follow CDC guidelines, stay informed, observe social distancing, and flatten the curve. We LOVE and VALUE all of you and thank you for your patience during these extraordinary and unprecedented times. Please know that we will get through this together!

Sincerely,
